About us
The European Pulp and Paper Chemicals Group (EPCG) represents the leading papermaking chemicals manufacturers in Europe.
EPCG was founded in 2002, registered as an International Non-Profit Association (INPA) under Belgium Law in 2008 (No 893758097).
EPCG is dedicated to promoting the safe use and benefits of papermaking chemicals to society.

EPCG is the voice of the European paper chemicals manufacturing industry.
With 13 leading member companies and continuous expansion, we are an International Non-Profit Association (INPA),
dedicated to the common values and interests of papermaking chemicals manufacturers.
The members are companies operating worldwide in the research, development, and manufacture of papermaking chemicals.

You will be able to exchange experiences with each other regarding the promotion of the safe use of relevant chemicals and the promotion of a fair, efficient and effective risk-based regulatory system. Members can exert influence on emerging regulations and policy matters early on.
A stronger voice
You will have the possibility to actively participate in the preparation of industry positions and respond with a stronger voice to regulatory initiatives in the European Union and other international bodies. You can participate in one or more specialized working groups dealing with strategic issues impacting the industry. This will help you gain further knowledge on key technical and regulatory matters relevant for the paper chemicals sector and the wider value chain.

You will have access to regulatory technical information and support in the area of papermaking chemicals and paper and paperboard manufacturing. You could have directly contact to Chemical associations worldwide: in the U.S., Japan and other countries.

Membership fees are calculated based on the actual workplan each year according to the EPCG Operating Rules. For more details, please contact us.
How can you become a member?
Simply send us a membership application request (attn.: Ms. Sandhya Sharma-Tosserams) including a brief description of the area of activity of your company. The completed membership application will be reviewed by the EPCG Board who makes a recommendation to the EPCG Advisory Council for final approval.
